9月22-25日にチェコ共和国・プラハで開催された国際シンポジウム18th International Nutrition and Diagnostics Conference (INDC2018)で、動物栄養学研究室に所属する大学院生3名と学部生1名がポスター発表を行いました。川田実生さん(D3)は”The population of the glucosylceramide-hydrolyzing bacterium, Glucerabacter canisensis, in dogs of different age groups”、阿久津翔子さん(M2)は”Effects of conjugated fatty acids produced by intestinal bacteria on skin whitening”、鈴木慎人さん(M1)は”Properties of a novel strain of Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens that has high ability to produce conjugated linoleic acid”、湯山星加さん(B4)は”Fructooligosaccharide supporting the growth of glucosylceramide-hydrolyzing bacterium in cultures of mixed intestinal bacteria from mice”というタイトルの発表を行いました。これらは、新たに見出した有用腸内細菌の機能や代謝特性を解析した研究成果の一部をまとめたものです。英語での対応には四苦八苦しましたが、多くの事を学んできました。学術知識だけでなく、海外での生活や研究者との交流なども良い経験になりました。（使用したポスターを研究室前に提示しております。学園祭で訪問される際には、お立ち寄りください。）
