10月18-20日にスペイン・マドリードで開催された国際シンポジウムBioMicroworld2017で、動物栄養学研究室に所属する大学院生5名と学部生1名がポスター発表を行いました。川田実生さん(D2)は” Characterizations of newly isolated Clostridium coccoides group bacterium as its probiotic effects”、塚本安美さん(M2)は” Enzyme properties of glucosylceramidase in the novel bacterium A that is a member of the Clostridium coccoides group”、阿久津翔子さん(M1)は” Effects of lipid metabolites by dog fecal bacteria on skin whitening”、河原夏希さん(M1)は” Probiotic utilization of the newly isolated Butyrivibrio sp. improves the skin barrier function”、信川将平さん(M1)は” Comparison of the ability to isomerize linoleic acid to conjugated linoleic acid among newly isolated Butyrivibrio sp.”、鈴木慎人さん(B4)は” Microbial populations related to conjugated linoleic acid production in dogs” 、というタイトルの発表を行いました。これらは、新たに見出した有用腸内細菌の機能や代謝特性を解析し、肌の美白や皮膚炎の治療に応用しようという研究成果の一部をまとめたものです。英語での対応には四苦八苦しましたが、多くの事を学んできました。学術知識だけでなく、海外での生活や研究者との交流なども良い経験になりました。（使用したポスターを研究室前に提示しております。生明祭などで訪問される際には、お立ち寄りください。）
